Rats/Pest help

If you shot a red squirrel in the UK you would be in trouble.
If I don’t shoot them I’ll have no insulation left in the house.
Right now there’s a load of it in the pine trees. Little cunts have chewed a hole through the siding and are ripping it out.
I’d prefer my cat to catch them but he’s useless

yes understand your situation, totally different in the UK.

I just looked it up and it’s illegal here as they are fur bearers.
You can trap them (which I tried to do with a live trap) but everyone else says you have to shoot them.
I would much rather live trap them and take them for a drive

Our cats will spend hours staring at the dry stone wall at the bottom of the garden and fuck all gets past them. They chase foxes , peacocks and hedgehogs as well as mice and squirrels
Peacocks...where's your dry stone wall ? Sandringham ?

And then get a dog to get rid of the cat...

Most dogs seemed to be scared of cats or are friendly with them . Years ago we had a cat and the neighbour had a giant rottweiler, they used to run around our gardens and play with each other.

Red squirrels are rare in England , the North American Grey squirrel has pushed the reds out, only found in isolated areas, more in Wales and Scotland.

I repeat will

Go on youtube and watch ratting with terriers.. real terriers... Patterdales, Borders, Jack Russels, Plummers, it might come as a shock but i can assure these guys are very interested,
I know.
I have seen them at work.
Very efficient.

I've only ever seen two before this summer. There was a pair running through the trees here in my back garden in the City but there are tons up north where we just bought a place.
I prefer the look of them to the shitty black and grey ones but they are far more of a ****.
