Wolves also had a keeper called Phil Parkes back in the 70's should have played in 74 League Cup final but was injured. The rest, as they say is history.I’d forgotten about Phil Parkes, and there was also Jimmy Rimmer, who was another fantastic ‘keeper from that time.
Remember the Dalglish goal that went between his legs?Always seemed to play better for Liverpool than England but no doubt he was a top keeper and nice guy.
