Glad we didnt get him few years ago as now had time to become accustomed to the premier league (and in a largely poor team).
Plus side is great going forward, takes people on, has maverick skills and will hit the line and also cross with a left foot.
Counter argument is all of the above from a defensive standpoint.
Will also give us more threat wide against those endless bus parking teams allied to his unrpredictable attacking skills. We can also still play Gvardiol there if we need to in those games when we may need more defensive platform.
Kerkez is scouse bound and this guy for me is better fit for us than Robinson.
More to like than not on this one. But he is a left back and as a general rule we dont do left backs.
 
He’s a proper wingback but can get himself about too, more Cancelo than Walker.

23 and he has 4 years prem experience, big yes from me.

Will get the best out of Marmoush and Haaland.

Bombing down the wing socks down - err, he won't do it with us! We don't play like that. He will have to wait 10 secs before our next player arrives...

We can beat 90% of our opponents with what we have in our forward dept, and for top sides in PL and CL matches we need a strong defence.

I defo want defensive minded FBs like we had in Aké and Walker. That was key for our successful days.

Sadly Nathan hasn't the hammies anymore to play LB, even if he's top fit. Those days have gone.
 
They have just allowed United to pay for Cunha with a piss-taking installment-plan.

Wolves seems like the opposite of hard negotiators, with 1 year left I think 25 million upfront does it
 
He is quite ok defensively too, if he puts his mind to it. Have seen him shut down Salah completely a couple of times. Quite pacey and brilliant in attack. Will be a good purchase for us.
 
Reminds me of a young Gareth bale wouldnt be surprised if he ends his career further forward. A big fat yes from me get it done
 
My only concern is…doesn’t he play wing back in a back 5? I presume he’s played in a 4 at some point.

I’m all for him (see previous posts dating back a few weeks), don’t get me wrong.
 
This has been the target for quite awhile. He's been rumored for Cfg in years past, and there were rumblings when Viana started that he loved him as well

Id like this signing.
