According to GPT his weaknesses are...

1. Aerial Duels
Standing at 179 cm, Aït-Nouri struggles in aerial challenges, winning only 28% of his duels in the air. This vulnerability can be exploited during set-pieces and crosses.

2. Defensive Consistency
While his defensive stats have improved, there are concerns about consistency. In a match against Manchester City, he lost possession 11 times and won just 3 of 9 duels, indicating room for growth in high-pressure situations.

3. Finishing Efficiency
Despite his attacking prowess, Aït-Nouri missed five significant goal-scoring opportunities in the league last season, highlighting a need to refine his finishing skills.

He's better than Kerkez imo...let's compare.

Ait-Nouri - 4 goals, 7 assists, 86.7% pass completion, 46 chances completed, 89 tackles, 26 interceptions, 66 clearances, 55 take ons, 22/52 aerial duels won

Kerkez - 2 goals, 5 assists, 80.4% pass completion, 36 chances created, 52 tackles, 45 interceptions, 99 clearances, 22 take ons, 28/77 aerial duels won

Very good going forward and can defend. Got a bit of Marcelo about him in that he's incredibly skillful for a fullback, can shoot and cross. The ball retention and ball carrying means he would be suited to inverting too.
He certainly is. Amazing what these so called expert pundits know isn't it?

Didn't know he was only 23 as well, get it done City.

As someone who doesn't rate the fullback position, i find Ait Nouri to be the perfect prototype. He is the new Marcelo. Immensely skillful and athletic.

Defensively, i find most fullbacks are pretty similar, average! With a few exceptions. Walker at his peak, Wan Bissaka at his peak and then some CB types who also play LB tend to be good defensively. Everyone else tend to either be average or Trent Arnold bad, defensively.

So the best full backs are those who are the most technically gifted on the ball and okay defensively. And Nouri simply is amongst the most gifted.

He'd be #1 choice for me. At least hed have a chance against O'Reilly. Most of these other guys won't.

Nearly every time we've played Wolves, we've targeted Ait-Nouri's defensive game, almost as if we've recognised his weaknesses: from Walker pushing right up onto him to outmuscle him, Sterling running him ragged on the outside, and Foden running him inside. The kind might say we just maybe wanted to see how he would cope.

Another thing to consider is that he would join Algeria for the African Cup of Nations in December-January. We're already resigned to losing Marmoush from what promises to be a small squad at the busiest of times, so signing Ait-Nouri would leave the cupboard alarmingly bare.

Any truth to us actually being in for him then, or are we just hoping on here?
It's from Romano who seems to be very friendly with Viana.

Throw in that hes a Mendes client, has one year left on his contract, Wolves just about staved off relegation etc etc. It could make a lot of sense for all parties.

I like Matheus. Pep will know best, but I would like him in the squad
He’s got great spirit and seems like a popular player in the dressing room but I’d expect he’s a multi functional player who will see his playing time diminish hugely if we get players fit and play in their positions

Let’s just speed up our desire to become average and buy every wolves player going ffs

*not a Mendes client and Wolves have a +1 trigger on the contract.
