I always wonder with City if 3-5-2 would be ideal going forward. Ait Nouri on the left, Nunes (or this Wesley we are linked to) on the right putting in crosses for Erling. At least it would mean cutting our wasteful wingers. Think it's worth a try in pre season.

No slight against you, but someone brings up 3-5-2 every summer and we've perhaps toyed with it once, way back when we had Mendy. I very much doubt we'd bring it in

Yeah Blue, thought Henderson Hall was excellent at Watford in youth cup semi final. Looked a tough lad and very mobile. Haven't seen him as much as some on here will have though.
 
Its interesting that new and more new names are popping up and every time we are being excited.
Isn't it that we should be locking in our first choices rather than going after new ones every day ?

I think a better option if we manage to lose 3 CBs, would be to go for Antonee Robinson who is also classed as homegrown. I know there's no links as yet, but we probably have a list of a few options for each position including various HG options. Maybe we look this way if other things fall into (or out of) place.

or maybe the people with the new names know absolutely nothing and are just trying to fill the void of no football and get engagement for their socials or clickbait for their papers?

Could be wrong saying this as well, but does the majority of the news that we get have some kind of delay in on it? For example, what we're hearing now is probably two weeks old, meaning things are much further along (or further away) than what we currently know.

I would imagine things that we can get done are pretty much ready mate in fairness yeah.

Yeh, I'm just thinking back to the Nico G signing where everyone went mad saying it was last minute, but in reality it was a deal completed 2 weeks prior to what we know, it was just a case of making sure proper send-offs offs etc, happened first.
