From a Lyon perspective if I’ve spent hours negotiating with somebody, he leaves then bids a few hours later with an offer lower than what had been discussed then I’d be well annoyed! Haha.

I also don’t understand why it all isn’t done in private. Who lets who know that we’ve had a €23m bid rejected? Would love to know the ins and outs of a transfer negotiation.

So you never complain about a player’s performance then because we have already signed him and you don’t want to moan?

City, like every team, have a budget. Fans care about who comes in. If all the budget was spent on one crap player there would be nothing left to buy any others (as an extreme example)

Think of the number of issues discussed on this forum that could be dismissed with “it’s not my money” Just because it isn’t directly your money doesn’t mean having an opinion about it is moaning. Bright green and pink first strip? Shut the fuck up just don't buy it.

which is a fair point and i think it will but if they want 40 ish and its 70m for simons, it seems stupid not to, im still not convinced us bidding 23 mill was legit anyway as nobody but that toliveri reported it
 
i would suspect that the "Here we go" would be done by friday at earliest

i hope this will be sorted at earliest

I wasn’t saying that to you it was just an example. There isn’t a pink/green shirt either…though I wouldn’t put it past them.

Actually quite like the idea - not that I believe anything I read regards transfers on social media accounts.
Lyon are severely screwed financially so need to get deals done - test them and see what they come back with.
If you're buying a car you don't just put the money down - you start low and meet somewhere in middle
