RB Leipzig (A) - Post-match Thread

2 of the kids on the bench tonight were there to make up the numbers, they're not realistically going to make it here. Another one, Lavia, has been in really poor form for the EDS all season and is lucky to have travelled. Palmer and McAtee should have played, I agree. But I can see why they didn't start the game.
I'll take your word for it because I only watch the first team. I'm disappointed that I didn't get to see Mcatee given the hype about this kid.

John is 27 and insanely talented yet he still needs a grown-up beside him to hold his hand. Sadly his mentality and concentration can’t be trusted otherwise.
Of our four centre halves, that tonight is comfortably our worst combination. The worst player paired with the worst mind
Yeah i agree.

In the last two tournaments he's played with England, he's been great in the preceding season for us and the dominant CH in both the WC and Euros, but came back and been a shadow of the player he was, it's strange.

€2.5mill.

I’ll get slated for this, but Pep has had another one if his CL brain farts. A dead rubber, f*ck all else to play for bar €2.5mill Euros, with Wolves and Leeds coming up and a hectic Christmas schedule. As for the kids getting game time, do me a favour!
You won't be getting slated from me fella. I concur with you 100%!

Poor performance and game management. Watched Leipzig in the bundesliga several times over the last few weeks and they have been absolutely shit. Perhaps it was the sacked manager syndrome.
In retrospect he should perhaps have pulled Phil and Kev at half time and given the two young likely lads a chance to shine.
I know the result was irrelevant in the grand scheme of things but a defeat is defeat and not good for confidence.
