Haaland, who else, was more pleased to see so many of the players starting to look sharp, hungry, and back on their game, let’s hope we’re hitting form at the right time.
Shout out for Nathan though, the downside of the position he plays I guess, rarely puts a foot wrong and consistently performs to a high level, he’s been a real positive, this season especially.

If yer score five and don't win MotM there there must be some churlish voters. Haaland was unplayable tonight.

Not at all. Kevin de Bruyne was the best player on that pitch last night. There’s nothing churlish in that, it’s almost ruder to think that scoring goals means you had a better game than someone who ran the game in midfield.

Haaland was dangerous as fuck and could have ended up with seven himself if he’d stayed on, but the game was won in the manner it was and Haaland scored those goals because of the way de Bruyne influenced the game.

Haaland even said himself that he should have done better with a few of de Bruyne’s crosses and scored more goals in the first half.

Scoring five goals in a Champions League game is obviously an incredible achievement, but I voted for De Bruyne. He looked back to his brilliant old self, which is hugely encouraging as we enter the business stage of the season.
