Re: txiki, soriano and mancini please take note.

No major investment in players required - just 1-2 forwards.

We spent a lot of money on a lot of players last year, largely in positions where we were already strong

To be fair, if we had scored more goals this season we would be far better off. But I suppose that can be said about any team.

IF.

We're maybe unlucky that Aguero has had such an injury hit stop start season. If he had stayed fit, we'd be much closer. Not one of our strikers is anywhere near the top of the goal scoring charts despite City being very creative again....Silva is 2nd behind Baines as the most creative player in the Premiership.

Do not allow this to happen again. The club fucked up big time last august and now we see the result. You owe us now, you must put it right.
No in fighting, no dawdling, no ffp shit. Just sort it.
Get the players in early, move the deadwood afterwards if necessary but don't hang around.
The scum may be skint but Chelsea aren't, if we fuck about they'll sign our targets.

No excuses.

Well said .

Beware though the rst of football is not going to stand still

Utd could spend £100 m in the Summer if they wanted to, and if Spurs get top 4, they too will be after a striker as well as Chelsea and they have Bale.

How many strikers are there in the World game that we will be looking at - less than last Summer and we failed last Summer so no guarantees.

Don't worry, I've emailed them both with my list of candidates to replace Mancini.

Why do people assume we can just snap our fingers and our chosen targets will come?

Last summer De Rossi didn't want to move, Hazard chose Chelsea, we screwed up over van Persie but that wasn't Marwood's fault it was Mancini's. Maicon, Nastasic, Rodwell and possibly Garcia were well on our radar. Sinclair certainly seems to have been a panic buy I'll grant you.

As I've said before, if we're involved it immediately gets more complicated, agents screw things up a lot of the time and a few transfers have fallen through simply because of their antics or demands. That will happen whoever is in charge and however professional they are. Let's see what happens this summer.

How is this?
