re: Reading's allocation/ turn-out

4.45pm on a fucking sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has clearly had a big impact too and if it was a saturday afternoon then Reading would doubtless bring more than they would for a late sunday ko. The same is true of City fans based further afield too.

But as usual the match going fan is bottom of the list as the FA and their TV cronies concentrate on money and their own convenience. Fuck the fans eh?!

..then of course some rags on the commentary team will doubtless go on about how we couldn't sell out the stadium for such an important game blah blah blah

The FA is slowly killing the game it is supposed to support and represent through incompetence, bias and sheer greed.

And they wonder why the romance of the cup is apparently being lost.......... ycmiu

I'm a little disappointed that City, having had this forced upon them, didn't counteract the impact of such an unattractive time for a game. and 'do a Hamburg' to fill the stadium and ensure the best possible atmosphere for a game that may see us through to our first FAC SF in 30 long years.

Just the way things are I know but that don't make it right.

Rant over.

they cant

unfortunately/stupidly the FA impose minimum ticket prices for each round

Re: reading tickets selling fast

Been on the phone to the ticket office about 30 minutes ago to relocate our tickets from level 3. There is nowhere on level 1 left for the two of us now so they are calling me back in the morning but hopefully they will allow us to say up in the gods!

The total of all the orange sections is only about 300 seats. Selling really well with plenty of time left yet. Agree, expect level 3 east (at first) to be opened in a couple of days.

My dad was mistakenly given his usual cb3 seat. They emailed him today and said they'd made mistake, could he contact them to relocate. When he did this lunchtime all they would offer him was front row north stand. He said no thanks . That's 3 cup games now they've lost him for.

Heads should roll over this - and I've always been supportive of the ticket office

well if they open up level 3 there going to look like dicks after all this, wouldnt surprise me if they under sell the game and keep them closed, all it needed was a statement from the club saying level 3 will be closed and if demands are there will be on sale later in the week, but thats beyond them

agreed, on the announcement of ticket details re-allocators should be automatically emailed, and the website should be updated to prevent sales to them etc. not this crap where the website does one thing and the phones another.

I know your all doing a very good job counting all the seats on the website, but stop wasting your time.

The online system only release's seats for sale at set intervals, and is in no way linked to the system they have at the Ticket office.

My friend who works their just laughs at the fact people bother to count them an use it as an indicator.

His response, dont bother, you may as well just say the first number that come's into your head, It has as much chance of being right.
