reading tickets selling fast {merged}

hello said:
As its stands I left it as is assuming the online site will be up at some point between now and then and that surely if demand is there as seems to be they wont daft enough to turn people away whilst having 10/11 thousand empty seats.

Always felt it was the ambition of our ticket office was to see how many tickets they could avoid selling. I have had numerous arguments with them over the years and I hate them with a passion. The main reason I joined the cup scheme is so I didnt have to deal with them.

can't understand why anyone would want to sit amongst the undead in Level 3?

this game could have easily sold out, reading could and should have sold another 3500, and we would be looking at selling the final 7/8000 tickets.

if selling the dearer 25 pound tickets is all city are interested in, instead of filling the ground then we are very small time.

reading still could have a top tier, each one holds approx 6000, why not relocate their south stand allocation into the top tiers, close off the front 2/3 rows, give them another 1700 tickets or so, and let them have unreseved seats, it would give them more tickets, and improve the gate.

it can be done, because it happened v poznan.

this has just shown how out of touch the decision makers are.

i hope someone high up reads this thread, its tuesday today so inclusive of the match day we have 6 selling days to sell the top tiers and yet they remain closed while people struggle to get tickets to sit together, they cant get tickets together so they decide to watch it on tv this affecting the attendance the same attendance we have with the players pleading for our support, who the fuck is in charge of all this

i dont think they are bothered, they are pushing hospitality on the website, thats where we are heading.

incredible to think we havnt won a jot for 35 years, and yet the club choose to close a 1/4 of the ground down in a game that provides an amazing opportunity for us.

if we get to wembley for the final i can see the club asking for a reduced allocation, and sending the balance to united.

Fuck that. The SS are happy where they are and it was Readings fault not City's that they didn't take the higher allocation.

It is also far too short notice to move the SS and open the 3rd tier like that.

Were are the reading fans going? As some one on five live just said yet have sold all there tickets in 2 hours yesterday but city won't open 3rd tier!!
