Everyone knows we get big turn out for 1/4 finals compared to previous rounds.

I predicted 42k for this and I am sticking with it.

Even in the Carling Cup, we got 20000k in round 3 a few years back then 39K round 5 (1/4).

West Ham 1/4 over 40k too.
For Villa, the round before West Ham (39k), we got 33k. We got 36k for Scunthorpe in the round before Arsenal. Think you should be able to see the argument I'm making here. Hamburg was clearly a special case with us having £5 tickets for adults and a quid for concessions.

The price has been cut by 1/3rd from the previous round, hich was not on a weekend as this one was.

The scunthorpe had 7/8k all around our ground and programmes sold out 30 mins before kick off, a bit down to the away fans that attendance.

I am not on about Hamburg I'm on about demestics home and away, all quick sellers in last 8 such especially in FA cup liverpool, Spurs, West Ham and Blackburn matches, and they were all live on telly

Anybody else getting multiple text messages from the club about this game, have received three so far, each one slightly different, basically telling me the same thing...???

Yeah I've just received my 5th one, the first 4 were identical, i'm slight worried as the last one has completely moved my seat for the reading game.

Same here, 3 correctly telling me I'm in the seat I relocated to for Reading and another quoting the seat I relocated to for Kiev but saying that's where I am for Reading. I'm going to carefully check that each text doesn't result in a transaction on my bank account!!

booked me ticket on line the other day and not had one txt of city saying anything.
was skint when me season ticket seat became available so am sat in block 101 instead of my usual haunt of 107. you lot better join in making some noise on sunday!!

Here is an email i sent this morning
No reply yet,but what a joke this has become

To: supporterservices@mcfc.co.ukCc: "MCFC Box Office" <Tickets@mcfc.co.uk>

Good morning

Customer number XXXXXX

Well its not a good morning to be a season ticket holder in level 3 of the East stand!

I have held my season ticket for over 30 years and have never felt this strongly about an issue
I bought my ticket for the Reading cup game, online, for £15 in level 3,as you sent me a text to do so
I then get another text and email explaining I had to relocate as the 3rd tier was closed, and i would have to pay an extra £2.50 for the pleasure of sitting in a cheaper seat!
I was told if i did not relocate by Monday I would be automatically put in the North stand!
I spent 30 mins on the phone
I emailed the club(see below) stating my concerns
I agreed I would move to level 1 east stand
I emailed the club stating if the 3rd tier opened I wanted first choice of my seat
I then go online and find level 3 is open!!!!!
I phoned up to claim my OWN seat,to be told its been sold!
It beggers belief, that the loyal, supporters like myself(i bought my 2 friends there tickets also, cust numbers xxxxxx + xxxxxx) are treated this way
You sell the cheaper tickets to your most loyal supporters, then sell OUR seats to any joe bloggs who decide that they want to come now its "near the final"
It should be us season ticket holders who get the best seats not the other way round
What benifits do you get purchasing early?
You are treating us like mugs,"oh they will sit anywhere"
Oh i forgot to tell you, look at your records,i have attended all cup games at home, and get treated like this?
Then guess what you email me a survey this morning, THE CHEEK OF IT
Well its about time you listened,as if this continues, you will only be left with "Joe bloggs" as the loyal fans who you mess about will be long gone

You should say the 3rd tier is closed, but if supply out strips demand, ie all tickets are sold in the lower tiers, season tickets from level 3 will get there own seat back ,then offer the seats vacated by level 3 season tickets holders(who will move from the lower levels) to go back on general sale
Its not hard to work out is it?

The Lady on the ticket office phone was very polite and understood my issue, and dealt with it as best she could
She was only doing her job,so i know her hands were tied
I am now in the 3rd tier but not MY seat
You need to sort this out ASAP
I hope the same does not happen for the Euro game,or if we get through, the next round of the europe?
Please reply to all the points raised,as previous emails(below) have been ignored

Very Annoyed

Hello
I have bought my ticket for level 3 in the east stand £15
My customer number is XXXXXX
I also bought my friends tickets XXXXXX+ XXXXXX £15 each
I have since recieved an email and text saying i need to relocate?
I phoned up to be told phone back on Saturday?
If you decide to open the 3rd tier,do i get the choice to relocate back to my season ticket seat,as i have bought my ticket for £15 for MY seat, not anywhere else

What's so special about YOUR seat? Couldn't you just relocate to a seat near where your ST seat is and save yourself/the club all this hassle?

No,not at the time, as the 3rd tier was closed!

Anyway,Lisa Eaton from the ticket office phoned me and has now put me in level 3,near to my allocated season seat(not mine, but i sit there every week)
She explained the following
Our average attendance for non prem games is 30K
Our average for FA cup is 27K
We got 25.5K for Villa
15K season card holders have NOT bought a ticket for the Reading game
The 3rd tier holds 10K
She said they are looking at how to sort things in future#
They are trying to fill the lower tiers to create a better attmosphere, better for tv etc, where everyone is together, rather than dotted around a half emty stadium,to which i agree,as i was sat with no one near me against Villa(i moved on the night to sit with friends,as it was half empty)
She also explained that ALL the third tier is not open, just the front rows, and will open more rows as and when
She understood my concerns and agreed that season card holders should get first choice of "there seats" but it would be very hard to do this
She said it has taken till today to sell out the lower tiers, and there is only 5 days till the match
She explained it very well, and comfirmed that the club do look on Bluemoon,so know of a lot of issues, good or bad,we encounter being City fans
I was only letting you know about the email i sent, and i have now got a reasonable outcome to it,and an insite into why the club do such things(where are the 15K season card holders?)
Lets hope we have a similar problem for the Semi at Wembley, which by the way,she says there is a meeting next week at Wembley,to discuss allocation and the criteria for how to purchase a ticket, should we win on Sunday.
She said it would be on loyalty points,as is the normal way to do it

Come on city!!!!!!!!!!

well thats a very decent reply, and to be honest they should make this kind of thing public knowledge, no-one would criticise them being transparent.

although the cynic in me says the third tier didnt open until they maximised the second tier revenue.

Hadfield Blue, if i came across that email in a customer service role, personally i would be less inclined to assist with trying to accomodate you.

You might be angry which is understandable, but what has the poor sod that gets to read that done to you?

It will all come out in the next points of blue meeting but i'd like to offer a word of advice for next time. If you take a breath and a step back and try to be polite in your correspondence despite your feelings, you are much more likely to get what you want or as close to it as is possible.
