Well he wasn't called up to the England squad due to injury right? Possibly something to do with that? Maybe they don't want to rush him, get him injured again before next season?

The squad haven't left London since Saturday, and with all the upheaval I think the last thing they want to do is arrange for 3 youngsters to get the train down alone and throw them into the mayhem currently being caused by the press.
