Great result, thought it was going to be a rare night when everything goes against us after the two deflected goals.

For the folk moaning just look at the desire and personality of this team, Stones was popping up in outrageous positions for a game of this magnitude and was key to the turnaround.

They are dangerous as fuck with the pace they have, we were threadbare at the back - thought Stones looked like he was struggling a couple of times but he fought through.

Looking at things positively it’s maybe easier that we need to win, being up a goal up from the first leg can be a funny one for the mindset. The bottom line is that we are significantly better than them, another great opportunity to show it.

Mixed performance but a fantastic result.

You can tell Madrid weren't happy at the end there - a lot of complaining at full time. They know they faced us without Walker and didn't take advantage.

Ederson, Walker, and De Bruyne will be back for the second leg. Madrid are fearful of the Etihad. We absolutely can do them 4-0 again if things fall right.

It felt like we had another gear to go up tonight and Madrid didn't. They'll know they gave everything and didn't quite manage it. We'll know that too.

Excellent 2nd half and they score a lovely goal which happens when you play against that quality. But we hung in there and at any point since the draw had you offered me a 3-3 even when 3-2 up I'd have took it. We're not lying down with defending any of these titles. Fucking love it.
