Real Madrid (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

You can't win everything every year

We were loyal to our best ever players who were record breakers . Domestic treble , treble , 4 in a row , centurions.

Hopefully they get a good end and win the FA cup and secure CL for the club. Then they can leave on a good note

Then the rebuild continues . And it will be a very exciting time .

I personally can't wait .

Ake ?
What a stupid comment.
Injuries to both himself and stones. One would need to go. It’s nothing to do with the quality of player. Ake is very good when fit.

John on his day is probably our best defender but it’s time we go back to having a settled team.

Better result than expected.
No news that we suck and it could have been a lot worse considering the huge gap in quality between them and us. 1 less game before this season is finally over.
better result than expected,/ how big is your telly. ffs.

I’m the same, really looking forward to seeing what happens. We might even end up better than what we’ve seen recently, back to back CLs for instance or 5 in a row!

I actually think the quick drop off in our results will be to our advantage in the end. No long drawn out decline just a realisation that time waits for no man. We knew our legends were coming to the end but nobody predicted how sharp the fall would be, but it had to happen.

In a way, perfect timing as it all aligns with the resolutions to all that legal shenanigans.

I'm glad it's 7 games less now. Will probably get us over the line to 5th or above. Start getting players back to full fitness instead of them having to play 3 games in 8 days (Stones). CL qualification and a deep run into the FA Cup would be a great end to the season. Then we go again next year.
Yep. Echoed my thoughts entirely. We absolutely can win the FA Cup this year with the teams left in it.

We're having such a bad season that it might affect 25/26 thats my worry.
This is different then 19/20 or 16/17, some of the players will not recover mentally from this season, are we going to sell half the squad?

People keep saying KDB, Gundo, Bernardo have lost thier legs or Stones, Ake are injury prone and should be sold, then we have Nunes, Ederson, Kovacic who'll probably go this summer.

So are we giving Pep a new squad?
GK - needs a refresh
Defence
Reis
Dias
Josko
Khushanov
Lewis

need to keep ake and stones till their contract end after next summer but only used to see out games

new RB & LB cover

midfield

Rodders returns
Nico
McAtee
ORielly
Foden
Savio
Doku
Echeverri

we need kev, grealish and berny replacements, Nico/Echeverri are that

Forwards
Bobb
Haaland
Marmoush

The rebuild isn't as big as people think

5 players max

never seen you before................all I seen is you acting like your a loyal match attending blue having a go at match attending blues on a day we got fucked off out of the Champions League by one of the best clubs in the world at a time when we are in transition and struggling.

Think about that before slagging off long term proper blues lad.

Don't expect to be our mate suddenly.
I don't want to be your mate.
I've said a couple of times that I take my hat off to every single one of you spending money and time to turn up and watch the same crap that you've been subjected to, week after week.
I couldn't do it, even if I wasn't hundreds of miles away.
I take all posts on their own merit - I'll argue with somebody on one point, then Like a separate post they make.
All part of being a grown-up

The video of the idiot City fan in the daft hat was part of a bigger one. Respect to the bloke that told the dick asking the stupid question short shrift.

The £180 million we spent in Jan will be a drop in ocean compared to what we need to spend in the Summer. I just hope the quality of player we need will be available. It is imperative we qualify for CL to make this happen.

You sound a right cock.

I mocked Gareth fucking Southgate for his obsession with too many right backs and never selecting a left back but we’ve not bought a left back for 8 years and the right back situation is comical. I just want to see us play with two proper full backs.

Yep.
A balanced team with players playing in their roles would be a start, But somebody told me once, to never knock what you have, 18 trophies in 9 years

'I personally' is better expressed as 'I'.

Not sure what would have offended anybody in my post, but I'm too old and too ugly to care about every cliché CTID on here.

I'm also a life-long supporter, but not dopey enough to decide to hate everything somebody says, just because once he disagreed with one of my mates from the terraces.

Football fan snobbery can either be funny, or just boring.
