Great result

More convinced than ever that Foden and that utter phallice Bellingham hate each other. Never seen them have any interaction whatsoever when they play together or against each other

Nice one, forgot about that.

I'm not the only one either considering some think the ref was shit, players get sent off for less than that.

That ref needs investigating, beyond corrupt how he managed that game ..

I don't understand how Real Madrid TV, which is basically their social media team, is allowed to release the videos they do every week leading up to games. These videos highlight decisions that the referee, who will be in charge of their upcoming matches, has made in the past that they believe have gone against them.

I mean, seriously, how have FIFA, UEFA, La Liga, or even CAS not stepped in and stopped them from doing this? It's absolutely embarrassing and stains the game. However, it's no surprise that it's Real Madrid doing this rather than anyone else.

Didnt ignore it, didn't see it but could have ignored the VAR but gave the Pen.

Doku knows what he does and is brilliant at drawing a foul he was fine.
You have to be kidding?

What about the Valverde challenge where he went flying in and escaped a yellow. Are we saying challenges like that are only punished if you do five rolls?

What about Rudigers challenge late on against Savio. Challenges in that sort of area are punished with a yellow but of course not because he’d then receive a red

You can’t have watched that and believed the red called it down the middle

He racked up the yellows for them at the end which probably looks good on the stats but missed obvious yellows for tactical fouls that Foden got booked for in the first 10 mins.

- Valverde lunged in on Doku, nowhere near the ball and dangerous, he played on and never went back to give the yellow.
- Asencio tactical foul on Doku, no yellow.
- Bellingham tactical foul on Doku, no yellow.
- Rudiger blatant 2nd yellow for the worst of the tactical fouls, nothing. Compare that to O'Reillys on Rodrygo and tell me that is consistent?

These yellows are so important because they then give Doku even more space.

Clement Turpin is a good ref but he was shite tonight.
Absolutely agree. Unfortunately Turpin let the crowd/ occasion get to him tonight.
The second Rudiger challenge (that should have been a second yellow was particularly frustrating).
Also way too many fouls in Doku which he did not punish properly..

What an absolutely fantastic performance.

The boys were not at all phased by FC Franco taking the lead, and they fought back superbly.

Nico took his goal brilliantly and Erling put his penalty away fantastically well.

I felt the second half was more about containment, rather than going all out to score again, but that didn’t matter, as they took the sting out of the opposition's game and saw the game out comfortably.

Great win and up to fourth.

Fuck England, fuck international football, I’d sooner he had the summer off
Totally agree. Followed them for over 50 years and tired of being left down, lost interest now and our lads are playing 60 or so games a season every year, which is why we look jaded at the start of a new season when almost everyone else has had a rest.

I thought those three subs Pep made together was going to backfire spectacularly, and tbqh we lost our way when it happened. I could understand Foden and Erling but not Cherki he was looking a threat
I said as much to mates as they were made. Savio looked good when he came on apart from giving it away in a dangerous position once. Reijnders did well and was fairly anonymous which when defending a lead late on is more of a positive. The one who I think did surprise me in a negative way was Marmoush. He seemed gassed after about 10 mins. Given his lack of playing time it was a little concerning but hopefully it’s just me over thinking it.
