On rewatching their goal it's 100% Otamendi.

Rodri actually does really well to control the bullet pass otamendi lumped at him in a panic, then played a very standard ball back to Nico who gave it away.

Maybe Rodri should have realised Nico was panicking and couldn't be trusted.
