The only good things about the summer is sunshine, nature, ice creams and attractive women wearing shorts. Hate cricket. 5 days for a game that finishes in a draw. Tennis is fine. Pre season is good too.
Don't forget the transfer rumour mill.

Its roughly 10 weeks of supposedly doing those jobs that you'd put off & spending time with the missus

Great comment save for the cricket part for which you should be hung drawn and quartered
;-)

We conceded 3 goals because we didn't control the midfield
Ilkay is the key to control the pitch
I like Gundog but we've been down this route before in the Champions League. Slotting Gundog in as the extra midfielder to negate the opposition and it hasn't worked. Anfield away a few years ago springs to mind. Thought Gundog looked off the pace at Leeds.

Card Happy Ref tonight. Let’s see if we are officiated the same as the Dippers last night with only 1 Card in 14 fouls.

Orsato, who was the referee for Manchester City's sensational victory over PSG at the Etihad Stadium in November, has officiated 25 matches so far this season - showing 151 yellow cards and four red cards.

The Italian referee was also in charge the last time Manchester City visited the Santiago Bernabéu, with the Blues winning 2-1 in 2020, courtesy of goals from Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne

It didn’t work at all at anfield. But then he was shunted out to the right and just didn’t seem to know what his role was. It ought to be able to work if he’s played deeper and de Bruyne and Bernardo are given a bit more freedom. But it’s a system that needs working on not just played on an ad hoc basis.
Stick to the tried and tested tonight Pep!

two shits already, stomachs churning, only normally get like this on derby day, come on City, no drama, an early goal would help to settle nerves
