Rodri hasnt missed a game all season with injury. we need backup urgently there if we are going to continue playing this way.Our longer term issue is squad depth. 2 strikers coming in will help. Still holes at fullback and DM though

Yep still rears its head from time to timetypical city anybody?
Is it fair to say we are shit at a sprint but the best over long distance?Or York away then this? ;)
It wasn't bad luck against Chelsea, Lyon, and the second leg at Monaco. For me those were tactical defeats. I do think we were unlucky tonight especially with the second goal. It was just a hopeful punt into the box, not even a good cross, but it deflected onto their player's head. I generally agree that you make your own luck but sometimes shit happens.Bad luck v Monaco
Bad luck v Lyon
Bad luck v Spurs
Bad luck v Liverpool
Bad luck v Chelsea
Bad luck v Madrid (twice)
Or maybe the team just fucked themselves in the arse repeatedly.
There’s no such thing as luck.
Stones is injured..
Ok, I’ve done my positives and now I’ll tell you that I cried at the result. But not because I felt the team didn’t try but because of all the angst and anguish and upset to every City fan. But we’ve been here before and tomorrow I’ll probably feel better about it. For now I’m going to bed and I apologise to @Johnny Mars Bar and @Psychedelic Casual I just always feel if the players are on the pitch they are fighting to win. I’m sorry I shouldn’t really have responded JMB.
Good night folks. You know what they say: Tomorrow’s another day. (I think that was from a film).
Somebody said in the Match Day thread and I said we never learn that is the problem and sadly it is.What it takes 10 fuckin years to get streetwise?
