Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

lose the title and this a horrible season ending.

those fucking Wolves and WHU away games, they put the fucking fear in me.

can we not agree to pay Conte in bitcoin like 1000 bitcoins, if he gets a result vs pool? like extra motivation. and also promise kane we go back for him if he raises the game as much the fucker as he did against us recently.
Newcastle is a bigger worry. We now have more injuries to contend with, players won’t have any energy left and they’ll be totally demoralised.

perfect scenario tonight for the scousers

I don't care what our best side is "on paper". Walker-Stones-Dias-Zinchenko was sensational at the back end of last season. We abandoned it, presumably just to keep Cancelo and Laporte happy, but no way would we concede six goals over those two legs if Stones, DIas and Zinchenko started both.
Really don't rate La Porte.

You can go back analyzing all our exits in the latter stages of the Champions League, Monaco,Spurs, Liverpool, Lyon,Madrid,Madrid, and he is directly responsible for unforced errors that have gifted Goals that contributed to us getting knocked out

He could fill a DVD with them

But by using the word ‘typical’ and referring to the league you’re referencing outside of the evening’s game.

On the back of a completely typical City fuck up in tonight's match, anyone who has followed this club for more than 10 years knows exactly what I mean so I really can't be arsed going over and over with someone who will just go on the defensive, it's in the DNA of our Club I'm sure.

Who is going to tell Lescott that we aren’t going for 3 leagues on the bounce? Not sure why he thinks we are.

Stones is injured..

Where do you start trying to pick how we threw that away. That's a collosal fuck up beyond anything else we've managed in this competition and we've only ourselves to blame for it.

Grealish can't miss that chance to finish the game. Score that and it doesn't matter what happens after that. It has to go in. Dias too slow tracking his man for their first, he should be ahead of him to sniff out the danger and that was a theme with him all night long, I literally said at halftime he needs to tighten up his marking. Second goal comes from Grealish strolling over and putting in a token effort to block the cross, if that's jesus still on the pitch he gets right into him blocks the cross and they get a throw in instead of a game saving goal.

Extra time, Pep taking off jesus and mahrez before the collapse for Grealish and dinho meant we stood no chance with what we had on the pitch when it went to extra time and no options to change it. Can't really blame Pep for not seeing a total collapse from us but was they neccesary subs? Not for me but we have constantly moaned about him not using his subs. Then dias late once again and gave them the winner.

We can dust this off as just a major missed opportunity if we secure the league, the very real danger is that screws us up both mentally and physically this weekend and we throw away the league too and end up with nothing. This cannot happen under any circumstances.

Eh? Then it’ll take us longer to win it. UEFA and the networks don’t want continual all English finals and serial English winners. That refereeing display tonight was odd.

i don’t think you can level tonight’s performance solely at the ref… yes he made some really odd decisions but the simple fact if we played for time and killed the game at 1-0 then the match is won
