What match were you watching? I watched the one where there was 88 seconds between the two goals. First was his mistake and he compounds it from the restart by gifting them possession back, from which they score…just like he did at home to Liverpool a few weeks ago…hoofed the ball back and they score from the same play.

Dont think they will FFP makes sure of that. Look at Everton all the money in the world but still poor.

Everton's pre lottery win team was far better than the current megabucks shambles. FFP will become interesting now the boot's on the other foot. I doubt the Newcastle owner would have bought the club if he thought he would be constrained by FFP. They probably already have lawyers working on loopholes.

But talking of Everton, although they were something of a bogey team for us for a while, I think their Howard Kendall team of the late 80s would have given AC Milan a proper challenge in the European Cup as it was then. History forever distorted because Liverpool fans got English teams banned from Europe for five years. Allude to that on a BBC post match forum and moderators take it down. I just wish a pundit would make an articulate, non-vitriolic historical reference to 'the five-year ban' to counterbalance the media love-in with Liverpool and their criminal fans.

I said the same thing and people are saying I'm talking 'bollocks' or my opinion is 'laughable'. Individual mistakes cost us that game!

And it was the same usual culprits. Who remembers when we played Madrid 2 years ago at the Etihad ?? Rodrygo skinned Cancelo on the right wing so easily, Cancelo put in a half arsed attempt to block the cross. Rodrygo picked out Benzema in the box and he scored.

And some of you have the cheek to call Cancelo world class, LB or RB he doesn't know how to defend.

Mistakes happen all the time. RM made "mistakes" but won... How do you explain that?

We made mistakes against AM but still won. Lfc fuck up all the time but still manage to win. Mistakes can be reduced, to ours and lfc's level but they ALWAYS happen.. It's whether luck is for or against you in those (reduced) fuck up moments

Last nights game was just bad luck, dodgy ref, and RM. Another night we win that.
