Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

Bernardo should walk if we don't significantly strengthen the squad.
We've already bought Alvarez and hopefully have Haaland coming in and i'm sure we'll buy a midfielder and left back, is that enough?

You've also said that Kev should have reduced role, so surely Bernie will play a significant part in our future!?

Also, even if he does want to leave, who can afford to buy him?

Seemed to be an absurdly high number of foreign ‘City’ fans there last night, particularly in the upper tier, and I fear its increasingly the way on these CL games. In 629 there were at least three groups of Spaniards sat on the segregation line, including 2 RM fans with tops on. Clearly we will attract new fans as the success continues to build but I cannot understand how so many keep getting away allocation tickets especially when City/RM had made so many restrictions beforehand (not that many tickets seemed to get checked..)? I guess some may be player guests but can’t have been all of them surely?

It pains be how many city fans have almost turned every bit as bad as rags and dippers in terms of expectancy and sense of entitlement. Things take time, people make mistakes, everyone has to learn from experience not just be fucked off because they make a few errors (in some people's opinion)

The old rags and dippers trope.

Grow up. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't make them 'entitled'.

Ederson is a nightmare.

Sponsors too as well as staff.

I am the same vintage as you pal, the media and establishment have got into our heads. I cant bare to watch a City game with commentary on, I would rather watch in silence if I’m not at the game. It’s a war of attrition, drip drip drip, all the time, first of all they want Pep gone, that’s their first priority, secondly they want Mansour to sell up, which he doesn’t need to, so they will continue to throw shit at us, anything we achieve isn’t valid. This no doubt impacts the players and obviously Pep, at some point he will need to recover because he has faced a never ending onslaught. The media onslaught also pays dividends with our players having the fuck kicked out of them pretty much every game. Leeds away, Atletico away probably this seasons two stand out games of total shithousery. having said all that we can still finish this season in a high. Four wins and we deprive our enemies of the one title they want more than any other.
I’d love to share your optimism but we also know that there are people behind the scenes who are pulling the strings, who are not gonna accept our (new/oil) money and want to see a return to their history clubs, a bit of “you’ve had ya fun, now f*** off back where ya belong”
There’s been 4 games against (top) teams where they should’ve had at least 1 player sent off as well, dippers x2, AM and last night, no to mention the very strange decisions where we concede a foul when our player has been the one fouled against, so although we capitulated at the end, the officiating has without doubt been against us in big ties, and I really wish our owners would call this sh!t out, because it’s becoming harder to deal with from a fans point of view. At least when we were sh!t we could deal with being sh!t, but let’s be honest we should’ve won the CL 3 or 4 times by now.
