Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

The issue is that we've elected to go with a small squad that weakens you, particularly in European competitions. Madrid made six subs. We had nobody with legs or energy who could change the game.

We need an evolution. We need players who can press and play at a high intensity. Not bring on a 36 yr old who's legs went last April.
Bollocks, that was mentality. Just before Madrid scored we had players all over the pitch and should of gone 2-0 up. As soon as we went 2-1 down none of them showed up.

What??

They should have been a player down.

Explain "fair and square" again??

That Brazilian shithouse acted and Rode his luck through the two situations as you would expect at this level. At the top level of international football for both club and country game management is as important as the football you play.

May not be right but it’s reality.

We have the best team in the world and a fuckjng awful weak bottling mentality

Its why we won't win the Champions league

Week in week out is our strong suit we have the best team in the world

But when we need a big game...bottlers

It's when you need leaders, too many weak fuckers mentally in our team. I thought we had one in Dias, he might be yet as he's still young. We need a nasty fucker like that Rudiger but he's going to Madrid.

We blew it over the two legs as we had our feet on their throats both times.

This one wasn’t on Pep. His subs were designed to see out the game in anything other than freak circumstances. Shit happened.

I’m gutted but proud to be a Blue. We’ve shown the whole world some brilliant football over this tie and the season as a whole. Need to learn from it and bounce back next year.

We can dress this up how we like. But it was a fuck up and pep has to take the blame as much as the players.

but i think whats fucked us most is recruitment, which has been appalling, and peps lack of trust in youth to spare our first teamers .

i honestly think now that it needs looking at from top to bottom.
5 out of 5 champs league fuck ups.

Agreed, this needs a proper review now.

We keep getting bumped out with stupidity and we can't keep blaming luck.

If Pep doesn't win the CL with us, considering the chances we have had - i am sorry it is a failure.

Walker playing they don’t score.

Walker not playing they score 3 in each game.

I’ve been saying for a while that we’re sleepwalking into a crisis with Walker. He’s so, so important to us and he’s also 32 years old and heavily reliant on pace.

What’s the post-Walker plan? Because we don’t seem to have one.
