Agree. Buying Haaland might not be the cherry on the sundae that some think. It’ll mean having to change our style of play, which could be problematic, and, as you say, there are other positions that need filling. Interesting summer ahead.Plus we need a CM to replace Fern and still haven't replaced Sane.
There could be players leaving too and they would need filling.
I fear we go all out for Haaland and leave other areas neglected as usual and the club hope Pep can work miracles again.

I see a lot of overacting here which is understandable. Sacking Pep is farcical. Take a min and look at the bigger picture. The club is fighting it out with the best clubs in world football and last night we were handed a very harsh lesson. The players are not good enough when the game swings against us. The record from coming behind is a big concern.
They should have controlled the last few minutes far better than what’s we watched which was a total collapse. Not sure how we fix this issue tbh. Going behind in a game or conceding late goals without knowing how to regroup and stop the tide is a fragility we need to overcome.

Courtois makes a great save with his studs and then there's a horrendous corner to put Madrid on the attack on about 89:30. The defending from then is non-existent, it's going to be horrendous viewing for the players. There are multiple times to bring it down and slow everything down. We dont. we panic to the extreme and this is pre Madrid scoring the first. The ball is at Eddie's feet on 90:01 after conceding and somehow making a mess of kick off, and Madrid are careering down our right flank on 90:30 again. There is zero control, zero shape. If you can take it I would watch it again.

No way. His fight and character was badly needed on the pitch. Pep creates wonderful teams but as we have seen numerous times in this competition and to our detriment, the players let us down individually. He makes some of them look better than they are it’s why we come up short in 1 off big games.Some of this comes down to the manager.

The shots on target wasn’t that relevant last night. It makes it sound like Madrid were no threat until they last 5 mins. They were a threat all night and I thought until we scored they were the better team. Palmer was coming along nicely until his injury. Can’t expect a young player to be put straight into the first team in must win games after a period out. He needed to be eased back in and there hasn’t been the opportunity to do that.Agree, Pep needs to start putting some more faith in the young players.
Look at Madrid last night they were throwing loads of young players on.
