Hopefully. But we did score 5 in a CL semi - that really should be enough, even if we should have had eight. But we let in three in each leg, and you're not going to win many matches from there...

I can’t understand why they couldn’t do that. We’ve done it before by taking the ball into the corner and running the clock down. The derby at home a couple of years ago springs to mind.

It was naive at best for a team with experience of big games for their club and country.

Of course I understand that, personally though I just want to see the evolution of our football. Seen us win enough over the last 10 years that although a trophy less season would be painful I’d soon get over it knowing we start next season with that beast up top.

It's shocking, but hardly devastating, we lost in a European Cup semi-final away to Real Madrid.

First World problems.

Pep and the Club have worked wonders and a Fourth Premier League title in five seasons would be nothing short of phenomenal.

A lot of people are jumping the shark. We won't get better than Pep, unless we want to try and fluke a Roberto De Matteo for 12 months?

I have sensed with this competition that quite a few people now want to to win it just to shut up our detractors, but those critics will still be there, regardless.

The only thing we as fans need to concern ourselves with, is making sure we are right behind the lads over this next week and drag them over the line.

Main trying for me is we have some obvious issues that need to be fixed this summer if we want to maintain the levels we have set
Centre forward hopefully haaland
Right back to cover walker. We should move heaven and earth for Reece James- he is perfect for that role
Possible left back (maybe not if a right back comes in
Defensive midfielder - no idea who

feels like we’ve just run a bit in empty recently
Need to get it back and go on one last run for four games

Agree with that but theres no way the club will get all that this summer.

Players will likely leave too and those spots will be unfilled.
 
Cancelo is a fucking liability at right back. What the fuck was he thinking for both of those goals?? That pass out of the back for the second was a joke tbh.

The Scouse rats will beat that Madrid team with ease with the amount of chances they cough up and I can't help but think that last nights shitshow could yet cost us the league as well.
