I think a lot of people need to watch the full 90 minutes back as soon as they come out tomorrow. They’re making the nerves from the pressure and the cagey nature of the game dictate their end of game analysis.

Watch that game back with the comfort of already knowing the result and you’ll see how good we were tonight.

It was redders (‘no air in the stadium’ was mentioned three times), it was a very cagey tight game with two teams being excellent but also very cautious of each others’ quality.

In games like this both teams are going to give the ball away a lot because both teams read the game so well so can intercept or shut down the space. You have to just roll with that.

After what happened there last season, I thought we were mindful and tried to control the game to a pace that didn’t suit Madrid. Even so they were very good and we were very good.

And our fans were AMAZING

Great Result all over tho imo, game will be very different in the second leg.

1-1 is a massive result from being 1-0 down away from home at this stage and stadium.

Kev stepping up in big games as per and a very good learning experience for erling, will expect him to be a different beast next Wednesday.
