Is Militao back for the 2nd leg?
One or two obviously forgetting what happened to us last season against Madrid in the last few minutes after late Subs.Yawn
Difference is we aren't being paid a wage to be a pundit which is supposed to be taken as an unbiased roleYes Ferdinand is a **** but every single one of us would react exactly the same if Madrid had just scored against that lot.
Are they falling in line to back the Champions? If you can’t beat them…Fuck me! This is from the Guardian....
Both teams embrace each other warmly, though Carlo Ancelotti continues to lose his usual studied supercool with the referee. He’s arguing that a corner that never was led to Kevin De Bruyne’s spectacular equaliser midway through the second half … but that’s a bit of a stretch. As good as Vinicius Junior’s first-time strike was, Manchester City were the better team in the first half, then in control for most of a slightly more balanced second, and thoroughly deserved to come away with a draw at the very least. Given the pattern of the match, and with the second leg to come on home turf, they’ll be by far the happier side this evening. The reigning champions will have to put on a performance next week if they’re to keep hold of their crown; City will surely be confident of getting the job done at the Etihad and making it to Istanbul.
I’ve tried that. Mute reduces the stress levels tenfold when you’re watching doesn’t it?!Watched on mute and hence no influence from comms or anything.
Thought the ref was fine
Thought the match was even
Thought we were outplayed on the right side of midfield with camavinga/modric/kroos vs bernardo/rodri that caused problems all game
Hope we put mahrez or foden on out there in second game and force them back to a normal lb
Happy with a draw and move onto the second leg
AmenTo all the moaners in here. We just played away in an 80 degree cauldron and a hostile crowd against the current champions of Europe, and most decorated team in Europe.
Our boys run themselves into the ground being kicked to death in the process. We battled for every ball against a really strong team.
A draw away to Bayern and a draw away to Real sums up the courage and determination of our team.
Be proud of our boys and stop complaining. We are the luckiest supporters in the world. Embrace it and our team.
