If we go off stats alone, we should be going through but stats don’t win you the match. We gave it a good go but just couldn’t get over the line this time. No detriment to this team but we aren’t as good as the team last season. We must do better at corners, dead ball situations, we must improve Doku’s final ball decisions, at least three or four times tonight’s match he had the opportunity to play a little side pass in but chose instead to take the extra touch to beat the player again. I’m surprised at Rodri not taking a penalty, he hammers them in for Spain. The least said the better about Silva’s, he will be having nightmares tonight about that decision.
Onwards and upwards to our next match, we will pick ourselves up for the double, if we can. That’s a hard enough task.

The whole team was magnificent. They battered them tonight. Absolute injustice were out. If I had a negative it would be Haaland, he really has to do more oh and the shocking penalties.,

Real got more and more organized at the back as the half wore on but Doku’s introduction changed the momentum of clear cut chances in our favour. Shame it didn’t work out at the end but anyone saying that we could get anything without that substitution must be deceiving him or herself.

KdB.
But this was a tough one. As too many players just didn’t reach their usual level. Nor fis KdB tbh.
Still proud.

Real played like a Mourinho side. Ancelotti is just a bit more well liked.

Gvardiol saved us at least 4 times, in the 15th, 24th, 29th and 117th minute. The future is bright. Him, Phil, Jeremy, Julian, Erling, Rodri, Ruben, Ederson, Oscar. CL titles will come, have no fear.
