Not been a big fan of Walker this year, think he’s been a clown on and off the pitch but he showed his importance to the team tonight, easily motm for me, the positions he took up centrally, coupled with some cracking driving runs in between the lines were integral to the performance.... well done carpet head!

Absolutely agree - his work rate there pins the opposition full back in their own half. His work rate is second to none and he is a clever passer of the ball as well - the pressure would be off him on the goal scoring front playing there as well and it actually might help him.

Couldn't agree more. The amount of times he tackled, headed away from Carvajal in both legs is incredible...On top of scoring in both legs and assisting...Roll on Lisbon.
