Happy we won, obviously. Could have scored more but you cannot score with every chance.
Didn't like the defenders, with the exception of Zinchenko, playing 'whose turn is it now to make a defensive fuck up?' Thought Dias was poor and Laporte sticking his arm in the air was stupidity.
Praying Kyle is back next week. Zinchenko played brilliantly tonight, but I just feel like we need to go back to a defence that has done us well for the majority of the season.
It’s going to be a nail biter next week, it shouldn’t have been but it is. I struggle to comprehend how a team that can pass a ball better than any team in the world struggles to pass the ball in the net. If Real had our chances tonight we’d be out.
Absolutely brilliant performance on the whole and great result but feels like a loss knowing we should have won with a better result and gifted them a life line and also what they are capable at home and Benzema is unstoppable at the moment. Fancy us to do a job but it will be a heart stopper.
We won, you know we won, how does it not feel like the win it is?
We have just watched an absolutely fantastic game of football, granted a one we could and should have won by a clear margin of 3 goals but if anybody is ultimately unhappy tonight then they need to go and give their head a huge wobble.
Putting every thing else aside . . . Wow . . . Fucking wow wow wow . . And wow again . . Better than season 1 of game of thrones, season 2 of heroes and the whole of the sopranos, and maybe breaking bad, all squished into 90 minutes of OMG fucking wow!
Away goals don't swing it this year. Won, scored a bunch, and had the reminder that goals can be onceded at any point. That's good enough to take into the next one.
