I am a bit frustrated but how good was it to play a team that actually wanted to play football than have some shitty low block? Madrid have some great players but we are a better team and should seal the tie next week.

Could that be a good sign though? We may have gone to Madrid with a two goal cushion and the mentality would have been to comfortable. Just trying to take a small positive out of the result, the lads look gutted and I see that as a good thing.

1st - Mahrez shits out of a tackle against fucking Modric.
2nd - Fern misses a tackle on the halfway line and Laporte watches Vinicius run 60 fucking yards and jogs alongside him without engaging.
3rd - Laporte heads against his own hand.

Its 3 of the worst goals we have conceded all season and we’ve done it all in a single fucking game.

You can't ever dwell on what might have been.

Conceded three goals from very little, one great finish, one run from the halfway line and one penalty from a clear but unintentional handball.

We also hit the post, had a chance off the line and missed two other good chances.

It literally could’ve been 7-1, more realistically it was a 4-1 or 5-2 sort of performance so the 4-3 result feels like a loss.

The encouraging thing was when we slowed it down a bit we looked like we could control the game in possession. Hopefully we can do that more in Madrid.
