Real Madrid (H) Ticket Info | SOLD OUT

Fuckin fuming. Been to every champs lg home game but no loyalty system for member. Welcome to being United and Liverpool. City city. Just shit

It's a masterclass in how to drain excitement from a competition to be honest. I would love us to win the CL this year, but if it's going to become an event pitched more at neutrals and tourists it will go back to being an afterthought for many of us. Supporting is the fun, winning is a bonus. It's always more special when you're part of it, win or lose.
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head there mate - it is increasingly a competition for neutrals and tourists and, to be honest, it’s probably only a matter of time before season ticket holders struggle to get a ticket for CL games as well.

I’ve never really been that arsed about the competition to be honest - for that reason - and I think the way the club has handled this, they’re is telling us that they’re not arsed about proper fans attending either. I’d like us to win it to give two fingers up to everyone, but other than that I don’t feel particularly engaged with it.

The two-tier nature of the Super League proposals was a bit of a giveaway in hindsight - they would have had a reduced number of domestic league games for the local/proper fans to go to at the weekend, with a load of tourists pitching up for the European games in midweek.

I get that people are annoyed but this is an unfortunate by-product of success, more people want tickets. Those saying that the atmosphere will be ruined, it won't be, there are like 70% season ticket holders and the vast majority of the remaining will be city fans, it will be equally as loud as the Arsenal game. Yes some will go to tourists but that's the nature of these sorts of games. I feel for those who don't have tickets but there were always going to be many thousands left empty handed.

That's all well and good but to have no criteria and no reward for loyalty?

Allowing neutrals and Madrid fans to buy memberships and have just as much right as those who have been going all season...

Only way around it for season ticket holders is to get on the CL scheme and attend all the less sought after group games rather than waiting for the glamour tie.

Sure, but the point is that they have in the past prioritised those with previous attendance, but chose to make this open to brand new members. That seems very unfair.

Good to know if you fancy making a few quid you can sign up for a membership yesterday, get a ticket today and just sell it on for 3x-5x the price
