Sure, but the point is that they have in the past prioritised those with previous attendance, but chose to make this open to brand new members. That seems very unfair.

Wounder if fa cup tickets will be the same free for all if any left after ST sales .

For the Bayern game, you had to have been a member for a few weeks before. Why didn't they even do that? Not sure it would have made much difference....

I think it's unfair to presume that thousands of blues missed out because of tourists/Madrid fans/neutrals.

The reality is that every City fan wants to watch the match. The stadium only holds 54k. We probably could have sold 80k/90k for this game.

Allowing neutrals and Madrid fans to buy memberships and have just as much right as those who have been going all season...

Madrid is going to return around 1.5k tickets from their away allocation. Generally speaking, it's not Madrid fans buying tickets in the home end. It's other City fans.

We need that North Stand expanded ASAP.

We do need the extension, but it won’t really make any difference for things like today unfortunately.

The club could have looked after long-standing fans by using ticket point criteria, but they chose not to. The NS extension will increase the chances of people getting to some matches, but not necessarily the bigger games.
