Real Madrid (H) Ticket Info | SOLD OUT

There were plenty of halfers up in SS3 for the Arsenal game. One of them had the Arsenal part of the scarf fully on show and none of the City part. I’m thinking mate you really don’t want to wear it like that up here. Clueless.
If we ever see anyone doing that near us, me and the people around where I sit always tap them on the shoulder and politely tell them to put their United/Liverpool/Arsenal red side of their scarf where it can’t be seen.

Mainly for their own safety but also as a bit of a ‘fuck off, don’t be doing that shit here you ****’ n’all.

Which isn’t unreasonable. I’ve heard of stories of these kind of tourist fans being mugged, beaten and stripped naked in Argentina.

Will they be showing the game on the big screen outside the ground. Could everyone who didn't get a ticket turn up and make noise outside?

Really worried that a lot of these tickets have gone to Real fans.

It won’t be Madrid fans. The ground will be full of football tourists and there because it’s a semi final. Large numbers of the genuine city fans who probably attended every other champions league game will be at home.

To be honest, Real Madrid are one of the worst supported teams away from home in Europe. Probably #1 when considering the size of their club.

They didn’t even fill the normal away end in either of the CL semifinals we’ve played against them.

It’s the football tourists who will be snapping these up. Randoms from all over the world who have no affinity with City or Madrid who are just there to say they went to a CL semifinal between the best two teams in Europe.

But could you imagine if this had happened and we were playing United, Liverpool or Eintracht Frankfurt!

Had a club survey email and have highlighted this in the "what is something negative City have done in the last month" question . Have to add I'm not affected, but my mate has been to every home UCL game this year and now misses out on this. He works weekends so a SC is not an option for him. Why there wasn't even one window to reward this kind of 'go when they can' support is shocking.

I don’t think they’re allowed to show live football on the screens outside..

Maybe we could bombard danny wilson with emails and tell him how wrong this is

Danny.wilson@mancity.com - please correct me if this isn’t the correct email
Just emailed him, as Per below…

Hi Danny,
I am a Man City Match day member, my supporter number is xxxxxx I have about 6000 loyalty points. I have attended virtually all home games and many away games for many decades mainly as a season ticket holder. In recent years I have been buying two home tickets per game as a match day member. This season alone I have spent well over £1000 pounds on match day tickets.
Yesterday tickets for the Real Madrid game went on sale for match day members and were sold out in minutes. No priority was given to those who had attended previous games or had amassed loyalty points. Now I can understand the huge ticket demand for such a game however I later found that hundreds if not thousands of tickets were available at hugely inflated prices £300-£500 on generic ticket web sites.

I would like to know if the club are prepared to do anything to ensure regular match going supporters can be given priority for such games and for season tickets and also ensure thousands of tickets don’t get snapped for purely speculative reasons?
Regards

I haven’t got a problem with the club giving ticket to schools. What I don’t understand is how they allocate the tickets. For some reason there’s large groups of kids from Scotland/ Scottish schools being given tickets, yet local schools around Manchester don’t get given tickets… it makes no sense
Against Arsenal, it was a coach load of kids from Yorkshire, who actually started a yaaaaarksire chant. But normally it's Scottish kids, but I don't mind them as they are usually under 11 , they actually watch the game and most of them seem to know more about football then some of the FOCs like me lol.
