Less than 12 hrs until kick off! Looking forward to the rollercoaster of emotion during the day. Positivity turned to despair turned to negativity turned to arrogance! And that's just the next hour!

I know, one minute you think we'll smash them. Next minute you think Vinicious, you think so what We'll still beat them, but they've got benzema modric, then you think we've got Erling and Kevin.

I am never nervous before a CL game but this one seems to have given me the bug, hoping Pep doesn't fuck about with equilateral triangles and just puts a team out to smash them.

Quite philosophical about it....

We've hugely overachieved getting to the playoffs having just come up....

And I know teams harp on about injuries... but we lost our key striker at the end of Jan, and for the last month had no centre halves...

It's almost forced us to play some really nice one touch stuff with a young lightweight forward line....(the championship equivalent of tika taka. :-)


It's been the best season I've had supporting the lads for many may years...I've actually enjoyed it....

Great stuff, there's always next year mate

I made a Faustian pact that if we win this competition, I'd have a David Dimbleby moment - and get a tattoo of it on my shoulder/back. - Really not into tattoos and dreading it - but will happily have it done. Stupidly/drunkenly said if we win the the treble I'd get all 3 done. Wife not happy.
