Just imagine all the positive ramifications of what a win tonight would mean lads, brings joyous tears to my face, let's hope the boys can follow through, CMON

I'd go Foden and Mahrez

Wow.....it gets better.

Grealish has been one of our most consistent and dependable players, his presence occupies defenders and allows us to play our possession/retention game perfectly - he is also involved in or responsible for much of our creative play and build up play.

He is a huge reason we are a few games from history,he is so important to the system we play......he is genuinely one of the first names on the sheet.

I agree, I think Grealish is and should be nailed on to start

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Foden on the right. It's not often we have started Grealish on the left and Foden on the right. We did that when we beat the rags 6-3. Can't see it happening though.

Yeah I’d really like to see that front three too, both Foden and Mahrez carry a better goal threat, but nights like tonight are just made for Bernardo.

I think that's our best attacking trio.

Phil only about 90% still though,i reckon.

Straight choice between Bernie and Mahrez, with Phil coming off the bench if required.

Madrid will have periods of sitting, they just will. We need to cash in on one of the chances we will get early in the game.

At some point Madrid will have some possession and eventually Vinicius will get a break or two.

2-1 City

Today is gonna go sloooooooooooooow...

Still, moments like these don't come along all that often, so let's try and savour the pre-game emotions. Breathe it all in. Be excited. Be nervous. Be stressed. That's what this game's all about, and while most other fans across the country have got nothing to care about at this stage of the season, our boys in blue could be on the verge of eternal greatness.

We're blessed to be part of all this, and a big thank you to Pep and the lads for getting us this far. Just one final effort now!

All you hear about this Madrid team is that the atmosphere at the Etihad will not affect them and they will take it in their stride , they have failed to win everytime they have come to the Etihad and we have beaten in the last two games at home , for a team who are not distracted by our atmosphere they do not appear to do very well.
Usual media bullshit , it would be nice just for once for the media especially BT would actually highlight how we are going to beat the Spanish Rags than spending 90% of the time talking Madrid up.
British Telecom the clue is in the name , back the British team you shower of c*nts.

Madrid don’t seem to travel well at the moment, they’ve lost a lot of games on the road in La Liga, which is the reason they are way behind what is a not very good Barcelona side. They are coming to a stadium where no team has won since Autumn 2018 in the champions league. Their big opportunity to put the tie beyond doubt was last week and they were unable to take it, they also let City back in. If we play with control like City did at Bayern at home we have a chance. Going to be a nerve shredding night but let’s all enjoy it.
