The 16-21 price is a joke. I hope it doesn't sell out, i don't want any game to sell our again.

Why don't the club do what Chelsea do and set the prices before the season starts - <a class="postlink" href="http://www.chelseafc.com/tickets-article/article/2640813/title/ticket-prices-201213" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.chelseafc.com/tickets-articl ... ces-201213</a>

at least you know where you stand then in terms of planning.
Dont hold your breath bacause some of us are prepared to pay to support our club. If its too dear then do something else. No-body is begging you moaning twats to go.

Well done Jack, very pleased for you. Jealous infact. Top Blue. CTYD.

There's me thinking it was going to cost me £160 for my lot(theres 4 of us) but now i've just read it's £45 per ticket so that makes it £180 plus a fiver for parking. Oh well I've watched City through years of shit and just have to accept that hopefully at some point in the future when we're drawn against Madrid again i'll be in a better position to afford it. Never been that arsed about Champions League and the way it's been rigged for years so would much prefer to save the money and watch it for fuck all on tv. Never thought i'd ever say that but priorities change.

I know and i'm not asking them too, probably like you i'm just putting it out there how some of us can't afford to do it. No need for anyone to slag other Blues off for telling how it is. It's a forum, it's about opinions, it's objective and up for discussion not ridicule or slagging.

Yes I know and I thought i'd backed him up by saying 'probably like you' and then aimed the second part of my post at those others slagging Blues off for commenting on rising prices etc. Probably didn't come across very well.

Sorry Josh, I'm going to put my mod hat away for the evening because the vodka is beginning to take effect, lol.

No probs mate. I try not to get involved in arguements on here and prefer to try and see both sides. Basically the situation has finally come round to a lot of Blues being unable to afford it. Most of these lads like myself have been there through all the shit times and now the good times are here some of us find it difficult to accept we should'nt still be able to pay a tenner at the gate and just walk in (if only it was that simple). Personally I got over it very quickly, im now 47 and have to prioritise my finances elsewhere but the time will come again when City are top of my list, like they used to be in my earlier years. And in all honesty I just don't like the Champions League anyway. Never watched it before when we was shit and only watch our games now. I'd love us to win it but i'd love us to win the FA Cup far more.

we`ve had nothing but crap for years & now we are in the champions league playing Real Madrid & youve got people on here moaning because its £10 dearer than Dortmond . So-called fans hoping we dont sell out, some virtualy calling for protests by not going all because they cant or wont pay what it costs now to go to these type of games. Everyone has choices how they spend their money, i give up things to watch city ,my choice,i`m sick of selfish tossers wishing harm on the club just because they cant afford to go. theres nothing more `Im alright jack ` than that. Do the moaning twats expect to get in for free just because the owners are rich, or because they paid £5 in 1985. Also the last time i looked we weren`t a communist state so i`ll say what i like thanks.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and say the match won't sell out until a couple of days of open sale. People say it's the biggest home fixture ever etc.
