Yes the 16-21 situation is a farce and it is no suprise that this is the area of match going fans which we lack, it wouldn't suprise me if we have more fans over 70 than 16-21 year olds. When i starrted going in the late 70s on the Kippax 16-21 year old were everywhere, i am convinced one of the reasons for the piss poor atmosphere at the Etihad is due to the paucity of lads that age and it is a situation which needs addressing.
We are addressing it by becoming winners, the reason we don't have many that age is how shit we were for so long, many start going at 6 or 7, so 10-15 years ago in that age range.

Didn't realise it was £40 until today been a bit busy at home with newborn, tbh I think this will be my last season on the cup schemes, CL will be on the TV, I'd never have a chance of getting a final ticket anyway, if I save any money on the side I can afford to pay over the odds for an FA Cup final or Capitol One final ticket. Ill pick and choose my cup games as I can't see us selling out these games with these prices in the future, I know it's Real etc and not Maccelsfield but I've only had a 1% wage increase in 3 years, household bills risen steadily, season ticket went up around 10%, cup prices have gone up substantantially, unfortunately our success has come in bad economic times.

I can understand the price being a pisser for some people - we're not made of money and life has demands beyond football. Fact is though that £40 to go to a stadium as good as the Etihad to watch our team - Manchester City FC v Real Madric / English Champions v Spanish Champions would be a bargain at two or three times the price.

I've waited half a lifetime for my team to play at this level and it's a dream come true - I'm not saying that makes it any more affordable but I am saying that whether everyone who'd like to go can truly afford it or not isn't an issue because it's fantastic value for those who can stump it up.

Totally agree and once Barca come then I think I'll have seen all the teams I really want to in that comp they don't get much better unless we met the rags in the semis and beat them lol.

Think I'm going to have to ditch the cup scheme next season it's getting very expensive.

Look on the bright side. It'll probably only be 3 matches the way things are shaping up.

I think they should cap the prices for the cup scheme at least at the group stages once we know who we are playing, at least then we know what we will be paying and there are no nasty surprises.

Mine went out this morning £55. Btw

anyone who know where i can get a ticket to this game?

I will try here too,
it's because i need one ticket to the game between manchester - real madrid. I'm a fan from denmark, but i haven't seen any game before. therefore i can't buy a ticket to that game. But i am in manchester at that time, so it would be a great opportunity!

I have been searching around the internet for a ticket, but all the website looks like scam, when i have search on them. now i want to hear if there anybody here who have one extra ticket they want to sell or anybody know a website i can trust?

I hope there is a friendly soul out there :-)!

yes its a great game to see Real at home, but not at all hapy with the price.. £45 plus £2 booking fee for the seat i always "stand" in the SS !

Tickets for sale before Ajax away game was cheeky to say the least !

Should have been £35 like the dortmund game or £95 for all 3 CL games... For this reason, not going Ajax game as i think it is over priced. If anybody thinks this is unloyal of me, you are more than welcome to put £20 towards my ajax ticket !!
