Real Madrid Home ticket details

I'm a bit disappointed at £45. I think it'll still be well attended because Seasoncard holders who don't book their seat will be replaced by people who struggle to get decent seats for Premiership matches - but £35 would've been a bit nicer considering all we've paid out already.

It's expensive... but how much do we/did we get charged for the derby in just the FA cup round 3 last year. I'm sure it was well into the £40s-£50s. You can argue "but it's a derby". However, nowhere near the caliber of the opposition we will be facing.

Charging so much for the kids these days is where the club are going wrong in my opinion.

Enjoy it. It's Real Madrid.

As I recall the FAC derby was unbelievably cheap for those in the Cup Scheme. I think it was something like £15 for Adults and £10 for Juniors as City froze prices up to the Quarter Finals.

I agree with you about the kids prices, and charging £35 for students for this one is steep to say the least. That was the price of an Adult ticket for the Dortmund game so I think City have got this one wrong in the younger categories.

It's the price of success, unfortunately. Something which was always coming once we hit the big time. I just hope it's not a crap game, and if a win ends up getting us qualified it will be money well spend IMO.

Yet again the richer end of our fanbase think that paying ridiculous prices is acceptable, we are turning into the rags and our support will mirror that before too long .
No we don't, we just realise that is the reality of being successful and playing the best clubs. I'm not "rich" and sooner or later I will be priced out, as many already have been. That's the reality, acceptable or not.

I hope there are 10000 empty seats for this game and the club realise they've got it badly wrong

there wont be though people will just accept it and say its the price we pay now. Which is ridiculous why should we just accpet it twenty/30 years ago if someone said it will cost you 45/ 50 quid to go and watch a game of football everyone would say fuck off. Now its the norm and people say thats reasonable and we have to accept it now. No we dont even in germany fans protest about a price rise ffrom a lot cheaper prices.

wheres the limit, what happens if it gets to 100 quid a game for one ticket are we just gonna accept it and say thats the price now ?

If you had of said twenty or thirty years ago a 500ml bottle of coke would cost you between 99p and £1.20 in the shops and £2.50+ in pubs/sporting venues now people would have told you to fuck off too.

Not too suprised really but think next year I will be in the same boat as a lot where it will be season ticket only and no cup schemes, I simply am finding it hard to justify spending so much extra a month on games so may as well pack it in, I know we are cheap but it's the most expensive hobby anyone I know does and that includes scuba diving, banger racing etc, puts it into perspective if you ask me

20 / 30 years ago a pint of beer was about 70 pence, if someone would of said you'll be paying £3 plus you'd of got the same reaction. You could go on and on with more or less every commodity, how much was it to get into a City match 30 years ago ? Probably less than the £3 your pint cost today.

I've waited a long time for this and I'm not concerned about the price on this occasion

If we fail to get maximum points from both games against Ajax, then expect a lot of empty seats.

I think I am not alone when I say I don't have much time for this competition, it's a cash cow for the elite clubs so I understand why it is important for our club but give me a FA cup and a League cup final anyday.

I pay £490 for my seasoncard and the club get no extra money from me, for cup games i'm happy to watch online or in the pub and let somebody else have my seat.

Can't really say i'm arsed about the champions league or europa league, i'd consider going to an fa cup game but refused to pay £40 against united last year.

fair enough maybe I didnt make the best comparison point, but still the yearly increase in tickets is getting bigger each year, not just at city but at every team
