Real Madrid Home ticket details

Just a Quick question. I'm in east level 2 and didn't get any reduction for my lad and I, even though we're in the cup scheme. Did this apply to all level 2 east and west stands. Only asking, £90 for two tickets when in the cup scheme seems steep.

Just thinking what I could do with £90 in the pub on champs league night.

About where i expected to be in terms of Adult price. Compare that with other forms of Entertainment such as shows at the Palace and Odeon and its comparable. We are playing Real Madrid.

There's a £5 reduction for all cup scheme members. But east and west level 2 prices are £5 dearer than the rest of the ground anyhow.
So for Dortmund/Ajax east level 2 was £40 with £5 reduction = £35 per ticket
For Real Madrid it's £50 with £5 reduction = £45 per ticket

But you don't go to the theatre every week do you and what's the opposition got to do with it?

£35 for my 16 year old daughter who goes to Bury College and is a Blue Member ( as was a Junior Blue since being 4 years old) is a piss take

A £194m loss is a piss take.

nothing to do with it

that loss was incurred mainly as a result of signing rubbish like RSC , Bridge et al for extortionate fees and paying them (and wasters like Michael Johnson) 10's of thousands a week on long contratcts

You're right. The extra income will probably cover bridge's wages for a week or two..... that we're paying him to play for brighton

That said, I don't think prices are too unreasonable. Obviously they're not cheap but not ridiculous.

How much have other english clubs charged when playing madrid or barca?

Cheers mate, the lad from the ticket office didn't explain it that way. More like "that's the price with your discount, 'cause your in level 2."

These prices are comparable to Premiership Match Day Prices.

But when you are already paying out £500 for a seasoncard and then have to find hundreds more to watch the Champions League it's expensive

City have to try and balance the books as that's what's required under Financial Fair Play. Some say that £10 extra on 45k is half a Million and that's not significant, but you can't operate like that.

Yet another argument for ground expansion
