Bernie has form for just hitting it straight down the middle. It’s a fair assumption that is exactly why the keeper just stayed on his feet. There is one thing wrong with Bernie’s pen and that’s doing it multiple times. If he had variations to the pens he had taken previously, it’s far more likely that the keeper dives out of the way. Bernie's penalty would have been outrageous unfortunately the goalie read it , if it had gone in we would be saying what a cheeky genius he was . Fine margins .

You'll probably get some grief for this but I agree with you completely. He is pointless in big games, like playing with 10 men
