Shit result again tonight...please stop putting gundogan on the pitch....play the new signings in the 2nd leg. Marmoush & khusanov starting.....theyve not dicked us 5 nil.....lets get some positivity & go & do em in the 2nd leg!......don't know whats happened to our stamina & i'm doubtful we can do it but if plymouth can knock the scousers out of the fa cup then we can knock these spanish twats out in that 2nd leg! Keep the faith

It’s annoying cos we don’t have the players to play his way anymore but we do have the players to play direct and be effective but it’s the antithesis of his philosophy. Were losing as much as we are becuase hes too stubborn.

The only time we look dangerous is when we hit haaland early and break off him. Swallow your pride Pep. Haaland marmoush and savinho are rapid.

Saying we kept him would indicate that somebody came in for him, but I don’t recall anybody being interested in him.

As for his position, he doesn’t have one, he’s a headless chicken.
 
Tonight was pretty miserable for a load of reasons:
We lost to Madrid the jammy baskets who always get the breaks against us though could have stuffed us with their chances.
We collapsed late on again.
More injuries.
The worst of it is the realisation that some of the finest footballers to ever grace our club are done- Gundogan (age), KDB (injuries), Bernardo (burnt out), Ederson (off the reservation) and injuries may do for Stones and Ake. Plus some very good players like Grealish and Kovacic.

Of the treble winning side I could see only 6 or so players still at the club next season.
 
Imagine you’re one of the players, after all of these capitulations and terrible performances, and you’re finally looking better and are beating Real Madrid.. but then you see two of the main culprits behind these awful performances come off the bench in Rico and Gundo. What does that do to your head/nerves? Why are the same players still coming on to the pitch and doing the same brain dead mistakes, or showing that they can’t run, or don’t have the physicality?

No doubt Nunes will be at RB on Saturday and we can do this all over again.

after that capitulation, if I’m Pep then I’m thinking of leaving in the summer. I’m not sure he’s got it in him to build another new squad from such a poor starting point. Especially as he’s only got two years left. I hope he stays, but surely he’s questioning it now
