Cant believe the negative shit posted in here. We were brilliant and I reckon we will still top the group.

We are Manchester city ffs.

Evening mate-My sentiments exactly-I have only posted that I thought Nasri was poor until subbed but otherwise the team were great.Nastacic,Maicon were fine IMO.Marcello was the one we struggled to contain. We soaked it up and scored 2 goals at Madrid. I am gutted we lost but people on here need to stop wumming and look at the cold hard facts. We pusshed the 2nd best team in the world all the way on their patch.

I know we are all hurting, just imagine what we are feeling now X 100 wouldv'e been what the rags felt when Agueroooooo happened, the thought made me smile a little

I had that feeling from 83-2011 way too often :(

Mansour needs to invest another 250mil in this team. We need to get rid of Barry,Narsi,Rodwell types and continue getting Augeros.

Stop being a knob.

He can't help it. He's a rag.

some of the comments i have read on the first 4 pages of this thread make me sad. people with over 20,000 posts (who obviously care), writing absolute CRAP

Volume of posts doesn't necessarily equate to intelligence or insight on BM.

Another thing...why is Kompany so stupid? A defender of his quality and he let Ronaldo past him about 5 times. Even I know that Ronaldo always cuts in and shoots and he got wrong footed every single time by thinking he was going to go to the byline and let him get a shot off.

I don't think Kompany is stupid , Its just that ronaldo is a very pacey player . Kompany did his best against ronaldo , The problem came from Maicon , he was supposed to be on ronaldo through out the game yet he left so much space for ronaldo to perform.

this is where milner would have been handy, as nasri just doesnt track back.

EXACTLY ! We should have fielded RB/RW players that could repeat the Richards + Milner performance in the 6-1 game at OT . The right back was really really poor today . Maicon thinks he is a winger and Nasri doesn't track back . I would have preferred if we started with Zab and Maybe Maicon or Milner on the wing , That way we would play "Double right back " as Maicon / Milner would track back to help Zab share the work load of going against Ronaldo . Too many tactical blunders in this game . I can't be mad at Joe for his outburst actually i think that's just what we need , A player who speaks out when we have a bad game . Vinny is a great captain but he hardly shows his dissatisfaction when the team plays badly.

madrid..imposters

when they went behind tonight did anyone notice they became long ball specialists?? they had in my opinion a good midfield that swamped us in the the first half. In the second half we evened up the game. it surprised me to see mourinho aka fat sam allerdyce encouraginging the long ball which did hurt us a bit.

i am ill tonight...we were beaten by a better team but it was the manner of the loss! 2 goals in 4 mins is sickening to the core!

we can gain points off them at home, we will also do well against ajax and dortmund...i feel confident we will progress to the latter stages. i still feel sick tonight though!

i really thought madrid would be better tonight

I suspect there's a couple of rags posting in this thread now, don't expect to be staying long guys, just waiting the consensus from the other mods. In the meantime I'd suggest clicking the "x" on your blumoon tab, thanks.

I think you are right mate.

-- Tue Sep 18, 2012 11:45 pm --

Please can someone enlighten me with what Joe has said. I had to leave for work at full time so not heard any of the interviews..Cheers in advance.
