When England hosted the 1966 World Cup, did the FA or FIFA give host clubs money to do up the stadiums ?
Pretty sure EUFA did give money/grants for the Euro stadiums when they were last played in England...

Was about to reply but @Shirley beat me to it. Yes they were given money to fund the building of the North Stand for the 66 World Cup, not sure if it was the FA or the government but the point is they didn’t fund it.
It was to increase the number of seats but at the time Maine Road already had more seats so the question is why were they given yet another handout?

The post uses AI to produce a table of City trophies won, and how many have been won since the charges were announced, implying that we’d of won none.

1. The charges relate to prior winning the trophies - so the post about trophies is irrelevant, unless it was about the period the charges related to.
2. It doesnt need re-saying, the 115/130 has been done to death for years, awaiting the verdict (not held up or delayed by City), also see point one.
3. How many trophies did United win with referee pressure and corruption, an agenda led management PL, bullying, complicit media etc?
4. United should , along with Liverpool , been folded for match fixing, ‘back in history’. United should lick our boots for our part in folding Manchester Central, allowing them to rise from being the 3rd club of Manchester/trafford.
5. United are state backed, having had the scaffold built twice with state inorganic money.
 
In the same City thread multiple posters are in uproar about the PL rule to come in about breaches being settled by agreement of a sanction fine - à la Chelsea’s one… you know the one that was far bigger than City’s 115/130, that disappeared from the headlines in about 2 days…

They seem to have a serious lack of any understanding of how the PL currently operates, with the red cartel vetted puppet Masters, doing their biddings. There is no way such a rule would come into play without the whispering in the ear of the puppet of how the PL should be working.
With United financially in straits (prior to the CL money arriving late in 27), it’s no surprise that it’s being pushed by them.
File under ‘United special treatment’ à la covid exceptional losses 4000% (not a trumpian %) above all other PL clubs combined and the huge allowed loss for ineos partial takeover expenditure.

B) he finally gets more money for transfers than other teams in the league (other than when at Bayern) - Arsenal/united spent more in PL and Real in La Liga

Media continued lie about City causing a delay. Then goes for a double by putting ‘independent’ in quotes - clearly knowing nothing about KC’s and integrity. If anything with one of the panel being a full-on Arsenal supporter, if is ‘independent’ in an entirely opposite way.

Dansk showing he knows nothing about the independent panel makeup- a load of KC’s - who have far more than a piddling jumped up witch-hunt on their plate to deal with over the past few years.

The amount of time and effort they expend on convincing each other (most of whom are not in Manchester, of course) that we aren't worth a jot, our trophies are worthless, our players are overrated, our club's plastic, our seats are empty because we've got no fans in _______ (fill in the name of the town but it definitely isn't Manchester!), we've got no history and that our manager is a fraud is off the scale.

Not that they're remotely bothered about us!

It’s fantastic, their hobby they started in the 90s of supporting a club miles away as it gave them some self belonging in being able to taunt rival supporters with their trophies and shit nursery rhymes. It’s all some how gone belly up due to our great club, now it’s a horrid existence of constant disappointment and the last great hope of some bullshit Premier League charges will get rid of City and have a return to the glory days for the rags.

I'm unsure which media Posh spice is reading, but it's clearly an extremely small niche of United consuming, pro-city media... I'm struggling to think of even one example.
