Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

How you manipulate games.

Ref (who couldnt wait to blow) blows for a foul..VAR don't overrule (knowing..)

Ref allows the goal and VAR don't overrule it.

Soft but we would probably compalin if it was given against us.
I wouldn't, you could look at that decision over and over and over again and not be able to work out what in the Laws of the Game that goal was disallowed for. If we conceded that goal I'd be livid at Ederson for not doing his job properly.

Who knows what the rules are now.
If you sneeze near the keeper it's a foul.
I did think Alison was poor today .
His kicking was crap.

The only thing I'd moan about if that was given against us would be 'consistency' knowing full well that it would't have been given at the other end.

It wasn't a foul. The keeper misjudged his jump then overexaggerated his movement to con the referee. The referee was desperate to rule it out anyway and knew full well that VAR would never have gone against his on field decision.

Can’t agree. Allison fumbled it before he was clattered. It should have been allowed. Other than that though, fair result. We aren’t clinical enough

It’s Saturday though, we are top of the league.
Agree with both points, though we didn't play badly we weren't clinical enough, we were a bit too casual at times and you always felt Liverpool could hit us on the break.
Ridiculous decision to not allow our 2nd goal though, no way as that a foul,( I wouldn't even go far as to say he was clattered ) Allison fucked up by dropping the ball and it was almost as if the ref felt sorry for him as his error led to our (first)goal.
