Turning a blind eye to the red card was shocking, but the failure to book Gomes at any point was simply inexcusable. Pawson looks unfit and for the second week on the trot the standard of refereeing was downright awful.

Lost control due to ineptitude and allowing the crowd to influence actions. It’s not the first time this season I have seen players react because the ref has performed badly.
The time added on seems to only benefit some teams and not others. Just another mechanism to control games.

We just want to have the rules applied evenly to both teams how can you book Alvarez for kicking the ball away at a free kick ( a booking was correct going by the new rules) but then doesn’t bother when a wolves player does similar..what was his reasoning for not applying the rules ..only conclusion is cheating..
