I get why they don’t do it to an extent but if they’re going to do something like Ref Watch, it would be so much better if they had the actual refs on it rather than Webb.

It’s just a PR exercise, stage managed to the point they choose what they’ll discuss….

Imagine if there was questions followed up with,

Why was Grealish booked for knocking the ball away a few yards & the Spurs playing not cautioned for picking the ball up & kicking into the 2nd tier?

First PL female ref announced - Rebecca Welch - those of us who watched the City-Chelsea WSL match earlier this season will know she's a perfect fit for PiGMOL!

Not the same ref, & Heaslip was demoted after her shit show.

To be fair that Woman who runs (ran) the line is probably as good or better than anyone else out there. I don't always agree with her calls but I believe she is competent and fair (which is more than most). I just hope this new ref is cut from the same cloth.
