Ref Watch

I have said it before but if the ref cannot see that in real time he really needs to think about another occupation. Clear as day in real time
England literally could not have had a better view of the incident without standing right behind Grealish. Even had Ndidi’s arm and the ball perfectly contrasted behind by light pink as hoardings.

VAR is shit but it wasn't conclusive that Grealish was fouled in the box so VAR isn't allowed to change the refs decision to give a free kick outside the box. Incorrect decision by ref, Correct decision by VAR

City given a penalty for the handball. Incorrect decision by ref, Correct Decision by VAR.

I detest VAR but come on, they got it right today.
Disagree. The 1st one was a foul, the ref & VAR gave a corner. Incorrect decision reached by both. It should have been either a free kick just outside or a penalty

He was looking at it that long I was doubting if he even going to give it ffs :)

That's a bit harsh tbf, if he was looking at the same clips we were at the time, the VAR gave him first two awful angles and then finally a good one. I don't think we should complain about five seconds when the VAR himself took two minutes to make his mind up, finally concluding he couldn't find any reason, no matter how small, not to give it.

VAR can't give a free kick outside the box. No penalty = go with the referee's decision. Stupid but that's where we are, isn't it?

My point was that VAR can't be used to give a free kick outside the box. It can only award a penalty. Hence, even though they could see it was a foul they had to stick with the refs decision.

Clear foul on Jack and foot on the line so clear penalty. The fact the defender didn’t touch the bell and ref gave a corner is the best evidence of a clear and obvious error. Can’t understand why a penalty wasn’t given even after VAR looked at it. Wasn’t outside the box and defender went straight through him. Yet another example of why conversations between officials need to be made public as in rugby.

Why only 2 minutes injury time 1st half. 3 goals, 1 injury & nearly 5 minutes to review 2 possible penalties
We are constantly short changed on injury time - most of the time we don't need it but it's the principal especially when the actual amount of ball in play is so low. Chelsea away 2 injuries in the first half and think it was 2 minutes given?

Not sure any of this is a result of corruption I think it’s more a symptom of the fact that we aren’t very well liked for whatever reason. This overall feeling then passes on to the refs who want to please it seems ‘noone likes them so i’ll referee them harshly’

All you need to do is look at some fans comments about us, United fans, Fulham fans(!) and lower league fans bemoaning the poznan, empty seats, shit atmosphere.

It’s a shite state of affairs. So let’s win the fucking lot and give them something to cry about.
@Goodlove you state you are not sure its corruption but then go on to describe the very meaning of the word.
Corruption isn't always about money being paid. It is about not acting honestly. A ref wants a cup final and knows he will get it if he pleases his bosses by acting dishonestly (not giving obvious decisions)
The GPC bullied the PL and Pigmob, if you upset him, you didn't get the next rags v dippers match. All the refs knew this so acted corruptly.
