Ref Watch

Based on what I`m seeing in the Atalanta/Young Boys game you can read into last nights ref performance for City/PSG that the refs are under instruction to turn a blind eye to underdog`s underhand tactics. The ref is the experienced German Felix Brych and he`s let the Swiss team manhandle the Atalanta players without any punishment. Too many times he`s played on and there`s been no advantage. I reckon the refs are under instruction to keep the ball moving come what may, and that`s to the advantage of the anti-football teams.

But still blow when City get near an opposing player. That says to me game management, not to keep the ball moving.

It’s all WWE and has been for a while.

Bt sports commentators have never been biased towards us so when they call out the ref something is clearly wrong.
I could perhaps accept that the ref believed Grealish always goes down too easily so didn't award fouls on him, but grealish kicked the ball against a players legs to win a throw in and the bent bastard gave in to psg !!!!!!

I‘ve been the biggest critic of Grealish but last night the ref allowed them to hack away with impunity, don’t think one of them was him creating contact.

It‘s no coincidence that we drew the 2 other ‘Money Clubs’ in out group, just like it’s no coincidence that the PL somehow managed to draw us with Chelsea and Liverpool away in the course of a weeks fixtures.

One thing I will say that’s positive in all this is that we have overcome so much to win what we have, the team has been impressive.

UEFA are no longer an administrator, they are a serious business who are there to make money for the clubs they represent as well as themselves. As such, there will be a lot of talk at the board and within that it will always have bias to their own clubs.

We all know this but it’s worth reiterating as a reminder to how and who goes far in the CL.
 
Attwell doing VAR for both us and the Scum this weekend. Tierney 4th official at the swamp as well.

Both goals came from tierney's efforts or incompetence. Either way, hes a git.
