Ref Watch

After watching the Leicester match how is evens yellow card but laporte red. British refs are shocking not one at euros and most likely not one at the World Cup. Since they went so-called professional I've not seen any improvements
I have literally just watched the evans challenge on aubameyang on motd and have come on here to post the same . Identical challenges which evans received just a yellow for and not one complaint that it should of been a red .
that **** of a ref couldn’t wait to pull the red card out for laporte we are refereed different

don’t even get me started with the constant time wasting from the keeper 20 mins in and the referee allows it was obvious for everyone that he wasn’t getting carded until the last few mins if at all

I would also like a better look at that offside with foden

And compare last week at Brighton when Ederson took his time over one goal kick when we were 3-1 up and was carded

I still don’t think that was a red. He was too far out and it wasn’t an obvious goal scoring position from there IMO. He couldn’t wait to lift that red card out knowing full well VAR wouldn’t overrule it. He should have given a yellow and then let VAR do it’s job if it was a blatant. No way that would have been given at Anfield or Old Trafford . We didn’t deserve anything yesterday but that ref was a complete c**k from the first whistle. I was screaming at him to have a word with the keeper from 10 mins in, I said to the lads around me he’ll book him at 85 mins when it’s too late

Its a clear red as it was denying a chance on goal. Cancelo was the nearest defender and he wasn’t catching him. Reminded me of Kompanys red vs Hull a few years ago, that was a red to.

The laws of the game should be applied equally not just to both teams but consistently over the 90 minutes of the game. Can someone please explain to me what their kepper did differently in the 85th minute to get that yellow card than to what he was doing throughout from the 6th minute?
He actually went walkabout from the goal area rather than just "taking his time".

Also, defenders twice kicked the ball away to waste time with no sanction.

Has anyone got a screenshot of where the ball was for Phil's offside knee?

it's not a red if Evans was a yellow 2 hours earlier. That's the standard and 2 VAR teams in the same building on the same day should be making consistent decisions. If they both ended up wrong then update the guidance after the weekend but both should have had the same sanction on that day. Inexcusable for such a divergence but we all know it suited them to screw us over as the reffing proved all game.

Phil is more onside than the VAR chose to overlook in the build up to Brighton's goal last weekend.

Until these cunts and the referee are on the mic and everyone can listen to what is being discussed, like rugby, then there is a convenient lack of accountability that suits just fine.

There was another moment in the first half when Cancelo was about to pull the trigger on the edge of the box and that wanker Marriner stood in his way to prevent the shot.

And then the faux apology.
Marriner on the edge of the box? Are you sure? Do these people have to take any form of fitness test

I reckon l could win a race from half way line to the 18 yard line with Marriner, Mason and one or two others.
With or without my walking cane. I could even hop faster than they run.

On the disallowed goal yesterday, what really fucking pissed me off was the length of time taken to decide Foden was offside in the build up. I was pretty much in line with Foden and my initial thought was offside, when Jesus then scored, no flag, celebration, announcement, players back to the centre circle, then wait, then the announcement, possible offside, then wait, then eventually to no one’s surprise it’s ruled out. So if I had an instinct Foden was offside within a second, wtf did it take the var twats so long? Well I think the answer is maximum damage. Let the cunts celebrate, then whack em, it was noticeable our energy drained soon after. Let us think we are back in it then hit us.

The wrong decision was for the Leicester not being sent off. Put it this way, if a Palace defender had done the exact same challenge and not recieved a red, we’d all be fuming.
